2016 Red Ribbon Corporate
Team Challenge Results
Polk County, FL – Kudos to participants,
spectators, and volunteers who took part in the 2016 Red Ribbon Half
Marathon, 5K, and Kids Fun Run, presented by InnerAct Alliance, Title Sponsor Publix Super Markets, Inc.,
and event partners MIDFlorida Credit Union and Florida Dairy Farmers, on Saturday,
November 12, 2016. This event culminated one of the largest Red Ribbon
Campaigns in the state to support bullying and drug prevention.
A new addition to the Red Ribbon festivities this year was the BIG EVENT
Corporate Team & CEO Competition for local business teams of 10
to take on other corporate teams in the 5K for bragging rights, along with a
traveling trophy awarded to the team with the most points. Congratulations to Micropath’s Blazers, who won the Small Business Challenge with an
average time of 2:50:11 in the 5K, and to Allen
& Company’s Phat Assets, who won the Medium Business Challenge with an average time of 1:39:36.
