UthMpact Leadership Class XII Summer Retreat
Candidates for the 2022-2023 UthMpact Leadership Class XII have been chosen based on their scholastic and leadership experience. The UthMpact executive board members met June 12-14 at Anna Maria Island to participate in a fun, intensive retreat led by Patrick T. Grady where they learned about Roberts Rules of Order to run a professional meeting, practiced public speaking skills, planned for the coming year, and took part in fun activities to help them bond as a new group.
Beginning in September, the youth leaders will travel throughout the county once a month to experience the inner workings of local business, government, healthcare, education, and law enforcement and meet with influential leaders to discuss challenges in our community and brainstorm proactive solutions.
