Kudos to our InnerAct Alliance’s Prevention Specialist
Teachers and students who shared their Red
Ribbon Challenge lessons in
self-care that may help lead to a happy life. Students were challenged to share three
things they like about themselves and one aspect they would like to change on colorful
post-it notes to display their assets as well as goals to work towards. It was
a great exercise for students to look inside and find things that they like
about themselves.
We can all learn a valuable lesson from this activity. Recognizing and understanding yourself are key to living your life in a healthy way. We all may have some things we don't like about ourselves, but in reality, there are lots more good things to celebrate as well. Self-awareness is very important so find something to celebrate about yourself each day!
