Can You Spot the Fake?

InnerAct Alliance is teaming with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and prevention partners nationwide for the DEA's One Pill Can Kill campaign to educate the public about the dangers of fentanyl and counterfeit pills made to look like prescription medication. Laboratory tests indicate that 7 out of 10 pills seized by DEA agents contain at least 2 mg. of fentanyl - considered a lethal dose.

Bottom Line: You can't trust your own eyes to determine if a pill is legitimate. The only safe medications are the ones prescribed by a trusted medical professional and dispensed by a licensed pharmacist.
