Strengthening Families Parenting Programs Offered This Month

 

All families have strengths but here’s an opportunity to learn how to help your family become even stronger!💪

Informative Strengthening Families👪parenting programs are now available through Tri-County Human Services at no-cost to participants. Families may sign up for an in-person program starting July 29, 2024 at 6:00 pm at 100 W. College Dr. (Building E) in Avon Park, FL 33825 –or– register for a virtual program beginning July 31, 2024 at 6:00 pm on Zoom.

This is a court-approved parenting program that involves the entire family. Strengthening Families programs can help youth learn how to set goals, manage peer pressure, make healthy decisions, foster better relationships, handle anger and other emotions. Parents and caregivers will learn how to conduct family meetings, increase communication & listening skills, set limits while showing love, and teach life lessons.
