and wine are just as harmful as hard liquor – drinks with lower alcohol content
are not less harmful
*Binge drinking is defined as drinking heavily over a short period of time - approximately 5 or more alcoholic drinks for males or 4 or more drinks for females in about 2 hours
*Alcohol depresses the Central Nervous System – effects brain by impairing
judgment, lowering inhibitions, increasing aggressive behavior
